Thinking like an Anthropologist: Learning to Ask Why More Often

Updated: Nov 18

We don't know what we don't know or think we know what we don't know or stick to "how things have always been done" creates blindspots that hamper novel ways of thinking. Learning to formulate better questions and asking why more often can help identify meaningful challenge spaces that may have been overlooked.

I work with stakeholders who are looking to broaden their own points of view by exploring the assumptions that guide their day to day decision making. Through tailored workshops, I encourage stakeholders to consider the broader ecosystems in which they build, manage, and adapt their organizations to ongoing change. I lead training sessions designed to encourage more intentional introspection, greater extrospection, curiosity and collaboration. The creative potential of teams composed of diverse people and perspectives, the downsides of organizational siloing, and how to begin to ask better questions, are topics of special focus.
